Annual Certification to ISO 17025 for FERITSCOPE® & SIGMASCOPE®

ASTM 799/799M: Standard practice for steel castings, stainless, instrument calibration, for estimating ferrite content. Or

ASTM B244: Standard test method for measurement of thickness of anodic coatings on aluminum and of other nonconductive coatings on non-magnetic basis metals with eddy current instruments. Or

ASTM E1004: Standard test method for determining electrical conductivity using the electromagnetic (eddy current) method.

By decision, client agrees to Fischer Technology’s ISO 17025 Scope of Accreditation CMC’s (Calibrations and Machine Capabilities) and measurement uncertainty. For determination of an “in tolerance/out of tolerance” statement of conformity on calibrations, measurement uncertainty is taken directly into account using Decision rule ILAC G8:2019 non binary, conditional pass/fail.

It is an industry accepted practice to recertify equipment on a yearly basis and our certifications will state this recommendation. It is by simple agreement of the quotation that the customer acknowledges this unless other intervals are directed within the purchase order.
