Cabled probe with spring-loaded tip for measuring surface profile depths.

Areas of application:
Testing whether sand-blasted surfaces are suited for painting. The probe measures the peak-to-valley differences according to ASTM 4417, Method B. Thus, the FPR1 probe is suitable for measuring surface profile depths according to various guidelines and regulations, e.g. SSPC-PA17.

Measuring range:
0 – 500 µm

For further characteristics, see technical data sheet. In order to function as a complete measurement system, this probe requires a Fischer measuring instrument.

This probe can only be used with the PERMASCOPE® module of the MMS PC2 desktop instrument.
